Description
Slim Profile, Full-Scale Performance
The Focal On Wall 302 is built to give strong front sound without the need for floor speakers. It mounts directly on the wall but still uses flax cone drivers to produce enough output for voices, music, and effects. This allows the sound in the front of your room to be balanced and complete instead of thin.
With 91dB sensitivity, it works well with normal amplifiers and does not need high power to perform. This feature allows dialogue to be clear at low volume. At the same time, when the volume increases, it remains clean without any form of distortion.
Engineering That Actually Serves the Room
The four 4-inch flax mid-bass drivers are not just there for show. They work together to control dispersion and maintain consistent tonal balance across seating positions. Instead of collapsing the sound toward the center seat, they spread energy evenly. Therefore, everyone on the couch hears a stable image.
The aluminum and magnesium tweeter adds speed without harshness. High frequencies remain clean and open, yet never sharp. In addition, the shallow cabinet keeps the speaker tight to the wall, which helps preserve clean room lines in a wall-mounted speaker system. You gain performance without visual clutter.
Because the enclosure manages resonance carefully, bass feels controlled and intentional. That control makes subwoofer integration smoother and more predictable.
Designed for Real Rooms
The Focal On Wall 302 can work flexibly in different positions depending on your setup. Do you need it vertically for left and right channels? It works. Do you need it horizontally to use as a center speaker? It can still work. All this flexibility makes it easier to fit any room regardless of screen size, furniture, or wall space. If wall mounting is not possible in your case there are optional stands that let you position it at the correct height without any drop in performance.
If you are not a fan of a tall speaker sitting on your floor, but still need the kind of output it produces, this is speaker for you. It does hurt to add a subwoofer, especially when you want to handle low frequencies, but on its own, it can handle voices and midrange clearly. This allows you to understand dialogue without straining your ear. Also, it handles sounds from various instruments and effects with ease.
