RCA & Subwoofer Cables for Home Theater Systems

RCA cables and subwoofer cables provide some of the simplest connections in your home theater. They join your subwoofer to your receiver, your receiver to your source, and everything else in between. Your best bet on a cable often depends on the connection and how far you need it to run.

Length is something to keep in mind before purchasing any cable. A short run from your receiver to the subwoofer right next to it is simple. If you have to reach further, you may want to look into other options. Speaking of which, make sure to see what kind of connectors your components have before shopping. RCA cables, coaxial cables, and RS-232 cables all have different uses.

Price isn’t always indicative of the best cable for your needs. Look to connect the equipment you have with the type of connection you need to make, and consider how long the cable has to be. From there, you should be able to shop around with ease.
