Meanwhile vocals, guitars, and spoken dialogue all remain intelligible thanks to the dedicated midrange driver. You get a speaker that can fill any room without sounding overly aggressive.

Detailed without being fatiguing

Focal designs and builds the Aria Evo X N°3 around its Flax cone technology. The cones used in all three of the driver pairs are both lightweight and rigid. This helps limit movement within each driver ensuring bass and midrange notes remain clear during busy passages. The result is vocals that don’t get lost in the forest of instrumentals and instrument separation that’s easier than typical for the power on display.

Higher frequencies are managed by a 1-inch TAM aluminum/magnesium tweeter. Featuring an M-shape inverted dome, soundwaves for treble are dispersed across a wider area. Detail in cymbals, guitar strings, and more are easier to pick out even if you’re sitting off to the side. Throw in a frequency response of 39 Hz to 30 kHz and you don’t have to use a subwoofer for every bass note.
