Description

Clear, Controlled Sound from an Elegant Tower

High-performance tower speakers should be able to reproduce low bass, midrange, and highs without sounding cluttered or compressed. The RBH Sound Reference 61-M Freestanding Tower Speaker is 3-way so each frequency range has its own driver. Music, movies, and games can benefit from improved separation and clarity as a result.

Two 8-inch aluminum woofers help deliver deep, controlled bass while the 6-1/2-inch midrange driver is dedicated to vocals and instruments. High frequencies are covered by an AMT tweeter for improved detail. Power handling, speaker impedance, and frequency response ensure full-range audio, so the speaker doesn’t have to use one driver to cover all the bases.

Built for Clear, Controlled Performance

RBH Sound’s Reference 61-M tower speaker has a high-density fiberboard cabinet with curved sidewalls. These helps limit diffraction for tighter bass response and a cleaner sound overall. A D’Appolito driver configuration supports strong soundstage presentation as well.

Other nice features include magnetic grilles so you can swap out the speaker’s look if desired. Fronts stay clean without huge labels or brags taking away from its minimalist design. The RBH Sound Reference 61-M has power handling between 100–300 watts giving you some flexibility when matching it to the right amplifier. The speaker’s impedance is rated at 6 ohms, making amp pairing crucial for the best setup.

A Strong Foundation for Your System

RBH Sound Reference 61-M Freestanding Tower Speaker is great for use in larger home theater systems or powerful music systems. The package includes adjustable spikes to keep the speaker stable. At 61 inches tall and relatively slim around, it won’t take over your entertainment space.

You can choose between Black Satin and White Satin finishes to match your decor. Start with the right AV receiver to build around the Reference 61-M speakers. Dreamedia+ and our Home Theater Design Tool can help you plan your room and entertainment system. Also, the Build Your System can show you components that work with the speakers.
