If you use a Ring doorbell or camera you can have this anywhere you normally wouldn’t hear your alerts. Maybe your house is big and you always forget to put one upstairs. You can put it in your back bedroom or large basement area and hear it when you’re in that specific area.

Tones, Volume and Quiet Hours

Chime 2nd Gen allows you to select different tones that will alert you. This can help distinguish if someone pressed your doorbell or your Ring camera detected motion. You can also adjust the volume of your chime to your liking.

There’s also a do not disturb mode that can help if you don’t want to be alerted. Keep in mind this will only stop your chime from alerting not your security. You can use this during nap times, dinner time or any occasion you may not want to be disturbed.

Setup and Fit within Your Ring System

Set up is easy through the ring app. Just plug it in and follow instructions to connect to your wifi. No more running wire to install your current doorbell system. Its small size will allow you to place it in almost any room. You can even have multiple chimes installed throughout your home.
