Description

Speaker Placement Starts Before You See the Speaker

When your room is done, you won’t see the Focal 300 IW6 Pre-Construction Mounting Bracket. It does its job before the speaker is even installed in the room. By establishing the speaker’s position before drywalling over your options, this bracket gives you something fixed to work around while you still have easy access to the wall studs and wiring.

Having that ability to lock in your speaker height, spacing, and location before drywall is installed can make a big difference. You can set your preferred position while you still have full access to the framing and then cover it with drywall instead of trying to make adjustments later.

Why Speaker Placement Starts Before You See the Speaker

Just because an in-wall speaker is out of sight doesn’t mean it’s perfectly placed. The distance from the speaker to your seating position can make a big impact on how it sounds, especially if you have multiple speakers that need to line up. Ideally, all of your speakers will be positioned based on the room’s acoustics instead of where they happened to fit.

The Focal 300 IW6 Pre-Construction Mounting Bracket helps you ensure your speakers start in the right place. Install it before drywalling over your options, then mount your speaker to the bracket to preserve that location as you finish your room. Once you complete the installation, your speakers will be in the ideal location instead of wherever they fit.

Hardware You’ll Know Is There When It’s Gone

The best brackets and accessories tend to vanish into your walls once you finish building. Don’t expect this one to stand out after installation. It has one job: to keep the speaker exactly where you put it. As long as it does that, it has earned its keep.

Plan your room with help from the Home Theater Design Tool. It makes laying out your seating, speaker positions, and overall design easier before you build. Once it’s time to start installing your equipment, this bracket helps ensure your speakers line up exactly where you planned. Dreamedia+ takes that planning one step further with advice on choosing speakers, electronics, and acoustic treatment that work together to make your entire theater look and sound like it was done that way on purpose.
