The Dovetail 3×2.5 Record Storage with Sonos Shelf holds up to 450 records in a simple, 6-box compact vertical design with the addition of the Sonos-sized shelf.
Dovetail displays your album art while storing hundreds of your favorite records. Named after the English “dovetail” joinery used on the LP file drawers, Dovetail features premium details like vegetable-tanned leather handles with solid-brass hardware, and German-made soft-close drawer slides.
- Finish Your Way: Choose from our range of durable low-sheen lacquer finishes.
- Drawers: Each drawer is constructed with Symbol’s exposed English dovetail joinery and utilizes German-made full-extension, soft-close drawer slides. Each drawer holds up to 75 LPs.
- Premium Leather Handles: Our vegetable tanned leather pulls are sourced from 150-year-old American tannery Wickett and Craig.
- Audio Equipment Shelves: Our equipment shelves are sized to fit most gear on the market and offer convenient access to your records below. Passive ventilation and cable management keep your components cool and organized.

Materials:
FSC Certified
Forest Stewardship Coucil certification ensures that products come from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits.
The FSC is a voluntary program through which forest management and chain-of-custody operations can pursue certification. During the certification process, an FSC-accredited Certifier (independent of the FSC and the company being audited) will assess the operation. If it fits the FSC’s criteria for sustainable and ethical management, the operation will receive certification.
Domestically Sourced
90% of our lumber comes from within 100 miles of our production facility in the heart of Appalachia.
We source lumber exclusively through suppliers like Frank E. Wilson Lumber of Elkins, West Virginia, a fifth generation company that meets strict conservation standards. Stewardship of forest resources in partnership with Wilson Lumber, ITL Northwest Hardwoods, and others has contributed to an increase in the region’s population of hardwood trees for the past 90+ years.
Clear, Protective Finishes
Our catalyzed lacquer finish forms a clear, efficient barrier with a close-to-the-wood feel. We optimize the sensory experience of nuanced color, pattern and texture inherent in premium materials and handmade, solid-wood furniture. And our finish is easy to care for holding up to almost any liquid in your home, from water to wine.
