Center-Bay Speaker Cabinet with American Cherry Wood Finish

Center-bay speaker cabinets house component storage with a speaker cut-out in one American cherry frame. Featuring a width of 66 inches, the Salamander Designs Elba 217 Audio Cabinet includes a center speaker bay. This type of center-bay speaker cabinet setup excels in a dedicated home theater room when combined with American cherry wood finishes.

Built on a sturdy C-frame aluminum chassis, Salamander accessorized the cabinet with tapered black wood feet and hidden levelers. Adjustable shelves inside each flank the center bay and support up to 75 lbs. The cabinet top itself can handle up to 350 lbs and can fit displays up to 80” wide.

Grille Cloth Bay, Shelf Storage, and Structural Access

Housing electronics like receivers, amplifiers, and AV components, the Salamander Designs Elba 217 Audio Cabinet centers around a dedicated speaker bay. Constructed with a removable grille cloth instead of a hard door, speaker output from this center bay will be completely unobstructed. Soft-close door dampeners were added to each speaker enclosure to minimize noises during daily use.

Removable rear access on the cabinet allows you to access the full back for clean HDMI and audio cable management. No need to move the unit every time you need to make changes. Salamander also applied vibration isolation throughout the cabinet to limit cross-talk between components during long listening sessions. Tapered wood feet come with hidden levelers to finely adjust each corner to the floor below.
