Tall-Format Tower with Four-Shelf Component Capacity

Sometimes you just need more than 3 shelves but don’t have the space for something wider. The Salamander Designs Chicago 617 Audio Cabinet will allow you to house four shelves of components in a tower that is only 23.25″ wide and stands 60.625″ tall. That added height gives you room for more receivers, processors, and source components in your setup.

The Chicago 617 by Salamander Designs is constructed with an all-aluminum C-frame chassis. It is finished in a textured black oak with a black glass top. It has four adjustable shelves behind two soft-close doors that can hold up to 75 lbs of AV equipment each. The black glass top will support up to 150 lbs allowing you to mount TVs up to 40″ wide.

Ventilation, Cable Routing, and Structural Stability

The Salamander Designs Chicago 617 Audio Cabinet has ventilation louvers to keep your AV equipment cool. It also has a removable back panel to allow easy access to all of your cabling. Adjustable wire lacing bars on the back will help organize your cables and the vibration dampening construction will help reduce noise when playing your music or movies.

You can use the hidden levelers to make sure the Chicago 617 sits flush on the ground. There is also an optional rack mount rail that will allow you to install 30U of rack mount AV equipment.
