Some cabinets require more room than you may have to dedicate to your A/V. With the Salamander Designs Chicago 517 Audio Cabinet you can store all your AV equipment in a narrow column just 23.25 inches wide and 50.88 inches tall. Perfect for your 2 channel audio system or secondary A/V room.

The cabinet is made of aluminum and finished in Textured Black Oak. The glass top is finished in black and will hold up to 150 lbs for a display that’s 40″ wide or less. Behind the two soft close doors you have three shelves that each can hold up to 75 lbs of AV equipment.

Ventilation, Cable Management and Rigidity 

With built in venting the Salamander Designs Chicago 517 Audio Cabinet will allow air flow to keep your AV equipment cool. There is also a removable back panel that will allow you to route all of your wires through the back of the cabinet. Rear adjustable wire lacing bars can also be used to keep wires tidy. This cabinet is also designed to reduce vibration while playing music.

There are hidden levelers that can adjust the legs of the tower to keep it even with the floor. If you need the ability to use rack mount equipment in your cabinet there is also a rack mount kit that can be installed inside of the cabinet. All these features keep the tower sturdy when fully loaded.
