A Full-Height Equipment Rack That Looks Like Furniture

Once your AV setup gets too big for a TV stand you will need a taller solution. Most tall AV cabinets and equipment racks look like they should go in a closet. Salamander Designs Berlin 617 Audio Cabinet gives you that extra space while looking like furniture. Wave textured Wenge doors are placed under a Black Tempered Glass top with Wenge sides.

The Berlin 617 Audio Cabinet has an Aluminum C-frame chassis which allows the unit to support 195 lbs. This cabinet will allow you to place your receiver’s and amps along with any other equipment you may have. There are concealed levelers that will allow this cabinet to be on an uneven floor. It also features two soft closing doors.

Shelving, Rack Rails and Heat Control

There are 4 shelves that can be adjusted to fit any of your needs. Each shelf can hold 75 lbs. If you need more space you can order the Berlin 617 Audio Cabinet with rack rails. This will give you 30 RU of 19 inch EIA rails.

Electronics get hot when they are running and can fail if they overheat. The Salamander Designs Berlin 617 Audio Cabinet has vents and an open design to help dissipate heat. There are wire lacing bars in the back that are adjustable and a removable back panel to help service your equipment.

Sizing, Compatibility and System Planning

This unit is 23.25″ wide x 21.25″ deep. It has a height of 60.63″ with room to store your equipment that is 19.75″ x 27.75″ x 19.5″(W x H x D). You can place a TV on top of this cabinet that is 40″ or less and hold up to 150 lbs.
