Turning Your Doorbell Toward the Walkway

 

If your front door is located next to a wall or side entrance your doorbell will be pointing in the wrong direction. The RING RVD2 Corner Kit allows you to point your Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Gen) towards your walkway. This will allow you to see who is coming up to your house before they get to your door.

 

The RING RVD2 Corner Kit has three 15 degree mounts that can be used to point your doorbell to the left or right. You can use one, two or all three mounts to angle your doorbell 15, 30 or 45 degrees. This gives you more options when trying to figure out what angle will work best for your door.

 

 

Improved Motion Detection

 

Not only will you have a better view of your walkway but you will also have improved motion detection. Since your doorbell is now pointed towards where people will be walking to get to your door. You will also have your doorbell pointed away from your wall or street.

 

You can paint the RING RVD2 Corner Kit with any house hold paint to blend in with your home. If you have an outside entertainment area you can also use the corner kit to help monitor that area.

 

 

Compatibility, Installation and Smart Home Integration

 

Make sure you have the correct model before purchasing the RING RVD2 Corner Kit. It is compatible with the Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Gen) and the Ring Battery Doorbell. It will NOT work with the Ring Video Doorbell 3, Ring Wired Doorbell Plus or the Video Doorbell Pro. Just screw the corner kit into your wall and place your doorbell on top.
