Description

Full-Range Sound without the Extra Bulk

You shouldn’t have to sacrifice bass response, detail, or useful cabinet space when you add floorstanding speakers to your system. RBH Sound Impression 85 use three dedicated drivers to handle the full range of both music and movie sound. Your soundtrack can smoothly transition from deep bass all the way to high frequencies without sounding unfocused. You’ll enjoy a fuller presentation from a standalone tower speaker.

With an 8-inch aluminum woofer on the bottom, a 5.25-inch midrange driver in the middle, and a 1-inch fabric dome tweeter on top, the Impression 85 allows each driver to do what it does best. The woofer reproduces lower frequencies while the midrange driver focuses on vocals, instruments, and other critical midrange details. Upper frequencies are left to the tweeter in this three-way system.

Drivers Are Tuned for Controlled, Layered Sound

With a frequency response of 45Hz–20 kHz, the Impression 85 has plenty of range for both music and movies. Meanwhile, the 87dB sensitivity and 6-ohm impedance make these towers a practical addition to almost any amplifier or AV receiver setup. You won’t need an extremely powerful amplifier just to make these speakers work.

RBH includes precision crossover points at 200Hz and 3000Hz to ensure that each driver only reproduces the sounds it’s designed to focus on. The crossover points direct specific frequencies to the driver best suited to handling them. There’s no need to use every driver to reproduce the entire range of sound. The high-density fiberboard cabinet also provides a sturdy enclosure for all of the internal drivers. The magnetic grille covers the front of the cabinet to keep things looking clean.

A Flexible Choice for Stereo or Home Theater

RBH designed the Sound Impression 85 to step up and do more when your front speakers need to handle more of the soundtrack. In a stereo setup, the 3-way driver configuration provides vocals, instruments, bass lines, and high-frequency details space to shine. As part of your home theater system, the RBH Sound Impression 85 towers can create a full-range front stage when your setup calls for it.

The satin black and white finishes help you customize these speakers to match your room’s decor. You can also use the magnetic grilles to customize the look of your speakers. Do you prefer something a bit more discreet? Go with the grille included. Want to see those drivers hanging out? RBH has you covered there too. From dedicated theaters to two-channel music systems, the Impression 85 offers sizable sound without massive cabinets.
