It has an internal ESS ES9028Q2M 32-bit DAC which allows for PCM frequencies up to 384kHz and DSD up to 256/11.2MHz. So, the Primare will be able to play most forms of Digital Music. It has a very low THD + N rating of < 0.07% and a Signal to Noise Ratio of -100dB.
