RETURN POLICY

Our return policy

If you’re not satisfied, you can return items that are new and unopened within 30 days. Some exclusions apply.

Items such as; A/V racks, and screens are non-refundable. Special Order items are non-refundable. Projectors that have been opened/ used will have a 15% restocking in addition to return shipping costs. Dreamedia Home Theater has discretion to reject and/ or deny returns.


How to make a return


1. Contact us

To start a return, call 972-322-4607 or chat with an advisor.

2. Get a Return Authorization

A Dreamedia Support rep will be able to step through your options and set up a return authorization. All manufacturer warranties are in place as we are an authorized dealer for all products we sell. Warranties are determined by manufacturers, ranging from one-year to lifetime warranties.

3. Pack your items carefully

Returned items must be new and in the original packaging, complete with all original accessories and manuals. To protect products in shipping, Dreamedia over-boxes most products. Please use the original over-box and the manufacturer’s packaging.

4. Attach the shipping label

For most returns, you will receive a UPS Authorized Return Service (ARS) shipping label along with your return authorization number. Remove or mark out the original labels, then securely tape one completed ARS label to each package.

5. Give the package to UPS

Take it to any official UPS drop-off site. For the location nearest you, call 1-800-742-5877 or visit www.ups.com.


Important return details


Refund or exchange?

You may choose an exchange or a refund for the full amount of the items you purchased. Refunds will be issued to the same credit card, debit card, gift certificate, or other forms of payment used in the original transaction.

Shipping costs.

Return shipping costs are deducted from your merchandise credit or refund.

Return shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser.

Freight shipping:

Some items, like large tower speakers, require special freight shipping and cost more to return. A Dreamedia Support rep will help determine the exact shipping cost of freight items when setting up your return.

Like-new condition.

Dreamedia may refuse a customer return or charge a restocking fee when the returned item is not like new. Conditions that will lead to refused returns or restocking fees include when the returned item has:

  • A different serial number than the one Dreamedia originally shipped.
  • Missing parts or the original product packing material.
  • Damage because it was improperly packaged for the return shipment.
  • Damage from drops, spilled liquid, or mishandling.

After your return

We will notify you: We will email you confirming that the return was processed.

We will process your exchange or refund.

After we receive your return, we normally process your exchange or refund within 2 business days (M-F). Once we issue a refund, the funds are typically available in your bank account within 5 business days. (Some banks or financial institutions may take longer.)
