If you want a speaker that stays clear when things get loud, the JTR Kallos 265 is built for that job. It’s a two-way design meant for home theaters and music systems where dialog, vocals, and effects need to stay locked in. You get strong output without the sound breaking apart, making it a solid choice for front speakers or compact LCR setups.

 

Rotatable Horn, Controlled Coverage


Up top is a 90×60 rotatable horn compression driver, so you can aim the sound where your seats actually are. That control matters, especially in wider rooms or off-axis seating. The horn crosses over smoothly around 1500 Hz, keeping voices natural and avoiding harshness at higher levels.

 

Solid Cabinet, Easy to Work With


The cabinet is built from stacked Baltic birch, keeping resonance low and the enclosure quiet under load. The front-firing design works well on stands, walls, or inside cabinetry. With reasonable sensitivity and an 8-ohm load, the Kallos 265 pairs easily with most AVRs or external amps without fuss.

The Kallos 265 doesn’t try to hide behind tricks. The 90x60 rotatable horn gives you real control over where the sound goes, and that makes a noticeable difference when you’re sitting off center in a room. Treble and upper midrange come through cleanly without getting splashy.
