The SI-1212/9 is a 12-inch non-powered subwoofer designed specifically to be installed in between ceiling or floor joists. The subwoofer plays into the room through an ordinary heating vent and is the perfect subwoofer for home theaters, listening rooms, or anywhere strong, definitive bass is needed without being seen. Self resettinge protection circuitry is incorporated to prevent damage to the subwoofer if it is ever overdriven. We recommend using the RBH DA-1202 or DA-1802 subwoofer amplifiers for powering this subwoofer.
