Terra Prime features an all-new board design with faster processing power and faster network – the only dedicated movie server with 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet. The new servers are available with either high-capacity hard drives (HDD) or fast solid-state drives (SSD).

Terra Prime is our next-generation high-capacity movie server. It can download a Kaleidescape high-bitrate 4K movie in as little as eight minutes and serves up to five simultaneous playback zones (compact) or up to 10 simultaneous playback zones (full-size). Terra Prime 88TB stores approximately 1,450 Kaleidescape high-bitrate 4K movies, and the 48TB stores roughly 800 Kaleidescape fidelity 4K movies. The Terra Prime 22TB stores approximately 350 Kaleidescape fidelity 4K movies, and the 8TB stores roughly 130 Kaleidescape high-bitrate 4K movies.

Faster downloads than its predecessor, with the highest capacity. Terra Prime adds increased performance and storage capabilities. Terra Prime stores movies, TV series, and concerts on an array of enterprise-class hard drives. Content stored on the movie server are played back on Strato players. Made in the USA, Kaleidescape movie servers are custom designed and manufactured for reliable, premium performance. Kaleidescape’s operating system (kOS) is custom developed, managed, and controlled internally, with automatic updates, providing the best experience of any movie server on the market. Terra Prime movie servers can download a Kaleidescape high-bitrate 4K movie in as little as eight minutes, with properly configured 2.5 Gbit/sec capable networking, hardware, and ISP.
