The Dream Media Plus Experience

This home theater was the result of a two-year collaboration with our client. From initial consultation to final calibration, we worked together every step of the way. The customer carved out a dedicated space in the basement and coordinated the remodel to integrate a complete theater from the ground up.

System Overview: 9.4.6 Dolby Atmos Excellence

Built with an immersive 9.4.6 Dolby Atmos configuration, this theater includes:

• Front, surround, and rear speakers: Focal 1000 series in-wall LCRs
• Overhead channels: Six Atmos speakers placed strategically in the ceiling
• Subwoofers: Four SVS PB16s, one in each corner for powerful bass response
• Display: JVC NZ800 projector, housed behind the room in a sound-isolated enclosure
• Screen: 150" acoustically transparent woven screen

The result is a cinematic space designed for both performance and simplicity. With Control4 automation, the user can hit one button and enjoy the full experience without lifting a finger.

Processing, Source, and Control

To ensure the best performance, the system features:

• Audio Processing: Trinnov Altitude 16 with Amplitude 16 amps
• Video Processing: MadVR Envy Core for superior tone mapping and dynamic contrast
• Source: Kaleidescape Strato C with 8TB storage, offering lossless audio and video playback
• Streaming: Apple TV and Control4 Halo remote for seamless control

Acoustics and Design

Room acoustics were optimized using Art Novion’s Cinema Series panels. These modular panels provide a beautiful aesthetic while allowing for a mix of absorption and diffusion, maintaining performance without compromising design.

Installation was fast and efficient, saving labor time while delivering a polished, symmetrical look.

Comfort Meets Performance

To complete the room, we installed Valencia Tuscany Ultimate Luxury Edition seating—adding elegance and comfort for long movie nights.
