This bracket allows you to retrofit the SI-760 and SI-760/R using the wall structure as the enclosure, without the hassle of installing the standard backbox into existing drywall. The extruded aluminum frame provides the solid mounting platform required for both the SI-760 and SI-760/R to really perform well in a retrofit environment.
