The 5-CHerry is capable of powering even large home theater systems with ease as well as giving you pristine two channel playback performance. The 5-CHerry amplifier has been specially designed for your surround system and can be configured as a 2-CHerry, 3-CHerry, 4-CHerry or 5-CHerry. Digital Amplifier Company was encourage by customers to provide a five channel version of the "mini Cherry" amp and delivers this product with better specifications with a different topology using Maraschino Monoblock boards and their 60V 1kW power supply. The new enclosure design is similar to the MEGAschino (4" less front to back). Total power output is 1000W regardless of the number of channels.

This amp allows better use of the dynamic range of the AVR due to optimized gain by utilizing the upper volume range. The sound is open and airy with low noise and distortion across the band and large power range. When listening to 2-channel audio the unused channels fall asleep so the power supply can focus on the channels that are in use.
