Aria SR900 is a 2-way bipolar surround loudspeaker with the same acoustic characteristics as the other loudspeakers in the Aria range. Composed of two 5” (13cm) woofers with Flax sandwich cones, it provides very high-definition and natural sound. For the treble register, there are two aluminium/magnesium inverted dome tweeters with Poron suspension and a waveguide for better control of directivity. 

• Original Flax Cone:  The flax cones have been made in France exclusively by Focal since 2013. With their original design, the cones are entirely oriented towards acoustic performance. They are made of high quality flax fiber enclosed by two thin layers of glass fiber. Flax cones are characterized by their natural sound, with low coloration, their richness of reproduction in the midrange register and their tighter bass.
• Inverted dome tweeter looks different, sounds terrific:  The Aria SR 900 also features two of Focal's 1" aluminum/magnesium inverted dome tweeters. Inverting the dome brings more of its surface area closer to the voice coil, can be smaller and lower in mass, allowing the dome to move faster than a conventional dome, for a better high-frequency response. And the tweeter's lightweight Poron "memory foam" suspension improves damping and reduces distortion.
• Stylish, vibration-resistant cabinet:  All Aria speakers feature ultra-rigid MDF cabinets with sturdy internal bracing and non-parallel sides, to eliminate the unwanted vibrations that lead to "boxy" colorations in the sound. The handsome cabinets have a traditional look, but with a few unexpected touches — a leatherette finish on the front, and a glass top surface. These speakers will sound their best when placed on high-quality speaker stands, like Focal's Aria S 900 stands.
