Kaleidescape Terra, with Strato C players, provides the best 4K Ultra HD performance and the most flexibility for future expansion. The Compact Terra is a smaller version of Terra, with the same performance and reliability.

The Strato C is capable of playing high-quality audio and video content, including lossless multichannel audio and high dynamic range movies on compatible televisions and projectors. The onscreen user interface is displayed in full 4K Ultra HD at 60 frames per second, resulting in smooth animations and visually stunning effects. The Strato C can play 4K Ultra HD movies from either a Terra movie server or a Strato movie player, and offers the option to start the movie instantly or jump to a specific scene or song. The Compact Terra is an enterprise-quality hard drive that stores full-fidelity movies, providing high-quality visual detail and audio. It can support any number of Strato C players and can serve up to 5 simultaneous 4K Ultra HD playbacks over a standard residential Gigabit Ethernet network. The Kaleidescape Movie Store offers a selection of the finest content from Hollywood's major movie studios, including new releases and classics. The store provides movies in both Blu-ray quality and 4K Ultra HD with lossless multichannel and object-based audio, including Dolby Atmos. The Compact Kaleidescape Terra is available in 22TB, 12TB, or 6TB storage options and up to four compact Terras can be combined for even more storage. The Kaleidescape proprietary kOS operating system provides advanced content protection required by Hollywood motion picture studios for storage of their highest-fidelity movies.

Strato C plays downloaded movies in stunning 4K Ultra HD at up to 100 Mbps and 60 frames per second, without any startup delay. Unlike streaming services, each movie is downloaded and stored on a hard drive, on either a Kaleidescape Terra movie server or another movie player. Strato C plays downloaded Blu-ray and DVD quality movies in 4K using advanced upscaling algorithms
