Do you use price protection?

We advertise the lowest prices available at the lowest price guarantee. There are some exceptions to that and what specific brands in particular. There is a Unilateral Pricing Policy (UPP) in place held by the manufacturer that we cannot display or sell goods from that brand below their recommended Suggested Retail Price (SRP). Otherwise, we will not be able to sell them directly to you.

How do I switch the audio between rooms?

Typically, our clients prefer to use distributed audio that is wireless and gives them complete independent zone control through an app on their phone. We have many solutions to choose from.

How do I reconnect my phone to my audio system?

We always recommend that you do a hard reset on your router before you try anything else. That means physically unplugging it from the wall, and plugging it back in as well as resetting the app.

Do the acoustics of the room affect the audio quality?

What are the differences between typical stereo speakers and home theater speakers?

Stereo speakers are traditionally just your left and right speakers. 

Two mono speakers create stereo audio and home theater speakers create extra dimension, allowing us to decode the audio in different formats making it a lot more realistic and immersive. When designed to work up as a pair or series, with several models of the same brand, they work similarly to how they do at concerts.

A home theater system consists of a surround sound system, at least a 5.1 speaker system, as well as a receiver, AVR, or separate amplifier and processor, as well as a home theater projector and screen.

What service can I expect after I buy the products?

Dreamedia has a 30-day return policy as long as it’s new and unopened within 30 days. We have a full return policy. All manufacturer warranties are in place as we are an authorized dealer for all products we sell. Warranties are determined by manufacturers, ranging from one-year to lifetime warranties.

What is the best time to contact Dreamedia for consulting? Before or after construction?

9:00 am to 5:00 pm. You’ll be set up in our queue to speak with one of our audio video consultants.

We highly recommend that you consult with us before construction, specifically before the framing stage. After framing drywall is applied and wiring is ideally put into the proper locations once the home is completed, to make installation easier.

In case there is some problem in the system, can I contact Dreamedia for servicing?

You can contact dreamedia after servicing, but our preferred partner network is the life support of your system.

If you hire one of our preferred installers they will be your point of contact, to rectify those issues. If you are a “do it yourself” person, you have to reach out to the manufacturer’s tech support. Most of our manufacturers have free tech support.

Do I have to pay sales tax?

Yes. All businesses are required to charge sales tax. Dreamedia is an origin-based sales tax, therefore we must charge Texas sales tax (9.75%), which is where we are headquartered throughout the entire United States.

Do you ship outside of the USA?

We only ship within the US, including Alaska and Hawaii. Shipping is free.

Why aren't prices listed on the website?

Dreamedia sells custom installation products and we are not legally authorized to display the costs of the products on our website. Therefore, you need to reach out to discuss pricing with our consultants. Prices are subject to change.

I can't find any information on Whatbox, Dragonfly, etc. Why can't I see prices on Snap AV that you guys get it through Snap AV? What is Snap AV?

Snap AV is a manufacturer that supplies a lot of the products that we sell and are price-protected. Therefore, the pricing will not be listed on the website.

Why don't you do in-home consultations?

Here at Dreamedia we want to deliver a 2021 experience to you guys. We are professionals in the industry and there is no need for us to physically visit your home. We do use video conferencing and we have been doing this for the last two years very efficiently. This way, we lower our overhead costs and can offer better pricing to our clients.

Do you have a showroom?

We use our YouTube channel as our showroom and inspiration for you, but we do not have a physical showroom. By not using a showroom, we’re able to lower our overhead costs and offer the lowest possible price.

What kind of warranties do you offer?

We offer the full manufacturer warranties on all products that we sell.

Do you price match?

We price match as well as offer the lowest possible price against other authorized competitors, which we need to see in writing.

Do you have financing?

Yes, we have financing available through Affirm.

Can I pick up my order?

Yes. If it’s available in a local warehouse you can pick up your order. We do offer nationwide free, next-day shipping.
